From time to time your pool filter may need servicing. It is not uncommon to find your pool is losing water & this could be because of a worn multi port valve leaking water down the backwash line into the sewer.

Further if the clarity of the water is heading in the direction of cloudy it could be that your filter needs a change in the filtration media. It is recommended that the sand in the filter is changed every 5-7 years.
